Джон Хеилброн – австралийский музыкант и композитор, работающий в направлениях современной академической, экспериментальной и импровизационной музыки.

С различными ансамблями он выступал в Австрии, Германии, Англии, Аргентине, Сингапуре, Португалии и Италии.

Некоторые из его импровизационных проектов: Arches, DRUM, doubleFRAU и Quiver New Music Ensemble. Также он основал коллектив Phonetic Orchestra.

В сольных выступлениях Джон играет на контрабасе и органах Bontempi, концентрируется на глубоком слушании звука в контекстах помещения и аудитории, включая в свою музыка звуки улицы и публики. Также исследует микротональность и неожиданности, случающиеся при игре на инструменте.

Jon Heilbron is an Australian performer and composer working in the areas of Contemporary Classical, Improvised, Experimental and Orchestral Music.

As an interpreter of contemporary music, he has performed with various groups in Austria, Germany, England, Australia, Argentina, Singapore, Portugal and Italy.

He is active within improvised and experimental music with his collaborative groups Arches, DRUM, doubleFRAU and Quiver New Music Ensemble, and is the founder of the Phonetic Orchestra.

Through his solo performances on Double Bass and Bontempi Chord Organ, he focuses primarily on the act of listening, with a constant awareness of the immediate context, be they outdoor environments, sub/urban settings or more traditional concert venues. He also explores microtonal harmonic shifts, revealing unexpected and intriguing sonic interactions.
